Since starting out as a small crew 10 years ago, then becoming Road and Rail Excavations Pty Ltd in early 2015, the business has grown exponentially as a result of our commitment to Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and efficient delivery of allocated works scope/s. We hold an ASP1 Accreditation (ASP #5217) in categories 1A, 1B, 1C and 1X which facilitates our expertise in installing electrical infrastructure for each of the NSW DNSP’s.

At Road and Rail Excavations, we take compliance very seriously, thus our workers are all fully trained and hold appropriate licences and authorisations for the tasks they undertake. They adhere to guidelines and are exemplary personnel onsite. We care about our people and the communities in which we work. Our commitment is recognised through independent certification. Our Integrated Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management System has been certified to the following standards:

Road and Rail Excavations has in-house Non-Destructive Excavation plant & equipment available to ensure safe systems of work when working around existing utilities to eliminate service strike risks.

Road and Rail Excavation holds “G” Registration - Traffic Control and has a fleet of fully equipped traffic management vehicles and highly experienced traffic controllers. The safety of its workers, clients and road users is always a primary concern. The company ensures every site has been properly planned and fitted with the correct signage prior to works commencing and utilizes the most up-to-date equipment to maintain the highest level of safety.

We can install multi utility infrastructure including but not limited to:

• Electricity (overhead and underground up to 132kV)

• Substations (indoor and outdoor)

• Earthing systems

• Telecommunications

• Water and wastewater systems

• Gas

• Pit, Joint Bay and Manhole construction

Road and Rail Excavations has a unique management system which is customisable to the type, scale, client and size of each project.

This demonstrates our adaptability to integrate each client, project and network requirement into an all purpose system.

All workers are fully engaged in the project management system and are made aware of their responsibilities through company and project inductions, toolbox meetings, Safe Work Methods (SWMs) and / or Job Safety and Environment Assessments (JSEA), Safety and Quality Management plans.

Our combination of both structured and random audits across each of the HSEQ functions ensures that we test our system to actively seek improvement and compliance.

Further, our plant & equipment management system ensures that our fleet is not only fit for purpose, but our operators are both competent and confident to deliver a highly skilled and effective service.
